I make the art. I show it to my professors and classmates. Get feedback. Learn a few things about how people see my emerging and already evolving work.
Then I go make more art.
In ideal conditions it's spacious and romantic. But it's not ideal conditions. So it's not that spacious nor romantic, and takes so much time. I feel like I'm constantly stealing time from other things. Like writing. Like sharing what's coming up and/or going on in my world.
But I love it. I can't believe I didn't have art in my life until 2023.
The cool thing about being creative is how it inspires ideas for other areas of my life and my work.
Something I've been meaning to share for weeks is the winter retreat I'm hosting here in New Mexico.
It's in January at the gorgeous house where I host all my retreats.
In the winter it's dreamy, fireplaces in all the rooms, lovely outdoor gathering spaces, and a cozy living room where we begin and end the day together.
And of course delicious chef-prepared dinners...
Come here in January to rest, create and connect with other like-hearted, creatively curious people.
I'm doing two things with this retreat that are not good business:
- I'm having phone calls with everyone before they register.
- I've lowered the price from past retreats* and included an additional even lower priced/accessible option.
Schedule call so we can talk details, you can ask questions, etc. If it feels a YES, you'll be invited to register. A call slows down the process but ensures it feels good to us both. 😌
